Carton packaging

Carton packaging comprises boxes and containers that are not made of solid or corrugated cardboard, such as those that have contained cereal, biscuits, frozen pizza, toys and electronic components. All Norwegian local authorities offer their citizens a recycle bin for carton packaging, in most cases the same bin used for beverage cartons, newspaper, corrugated cardboard and other paper fibres. Carton packages are rarely sorted as a separate fraction, but goes naturally into the recycling stream with other fibres and is developed into new raw materials products.
